Ceres Greenhouse Solutions is a fast growing Boulder, CO based company. Founded in 2011 by Dr. Marc Plinke, we have a passion for sustainable design in the greenhouse industry. We are a mission driven team, focused on “Designing for a Better Future”. Our team comes together with a wide range of skills and past work experiences and we believe that we can have a positive impact on food and plant production. Ceres is a unique work environment in that we practice horizontal leadership and all team members are encouraged to participate in interdepartmental collaboration.

Project Engineer- Construction

Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to successfully create large scale projects timelines
  • Manage multiple project timelines simultaneously
  • Manage multiple project budgets and forecast project financials simultaneously
  • Analyze construction plans and specifications and communicate with on-site partners
  • Pre-construction coordination
  • Track time and material work
  • Coordinate purchase and delivery of all materials to job site
  • Communicate with all project stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Build strong relationships with clients/owners, architects, engineers, general contractors and
    subcontractors
  • Provide construction oversight and project management
  • Occasional travel for on-site coordination

Project Engineer Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with Google Workspace, BIM 360, BIM Build, Microsoft Project, QuickBooks, or other project management software
  • Detail oriented, diligent, and thorough on all deliverables
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
  • Experience with the construction and project management of pre engineered metal buildings
  • Construction experience with large scale (USD 1.5mil) commercial building projects preferably projects
    that include processing areas, possibly GMP design
  • Knowledge in reviewing/ redlining project drawings and documents with a keen attention to detail
  • 3-5 years experience in construction project management
  • Good team player and excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Comfort with fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, resourceful and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
  • Strong organizational skills

Total Compensation: US$65,000- US$70,000 annual composed of base pay and bonus

Project Manager

  • Knowledge in reviewing/ redlining project drawings and documents with a keen attention to detail
  • Good team player and excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Comfort with fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, resourceful and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
  • Strong organizational skills

Total Compensation: US$80,000- US$100,000 annual composed of base pay and bonus
