Built for growers who need reliability, not just shelter.

How Our Greenhouses Perform in Any Climate

Traditional greenhouses struggle in extreme conditions, overheating in summer and losing heat in winter. Ceres greenhouses are different.

Designed for Climate Control, Not Just Protection

Our systems combine passive solar design, high-performance materials, and integrated climate technology to maintain consistent growing conditions.

Key Performance Benefits:

  • Stable temperatures in cold and hot climates
  • Reduced heating and cooling costs
  • Protection from weather extremes
  • Year-round crop production

The Climate Battery Advantage (GAHT®) System)

Our Ground to Air Heat Transfer system provides energy-efficient climate control by using the mass of soil underground. Sometimes called a climate battery, the GAHT® system serves four essential functions:

  • Air circulation
  • Heating and cooling
  • Humidity control
  • Renewable climate control

What This Means for You:

  • Lower energy costs
  • Reduced temperature swings
  • Less reliance on mechanical heating and cooling

A GAHT® system is a great supplemental HVAC system for your year-round greenhouse.

Grow in winter, even in harsh environments

Greenhouses for Cold Climates

Growing in cold climates presents unique challenges, such as freezing temperatures, snow, and limited daylight

Our Cold Climate Solutions:

  • Insulated north walls for heat retention
  • High-performance glazing for light harvesting
  • Energy-efficient HVAC(D) solutions

What about Hotter Climates?

In warmer regions, overheating is the biggest concern. Our greenhouses feature:

  • Ventilation and airflow systems
  • Evaporative cooling options
  • Shade and light management

4 Season Greenhouse FAQ

A 4 season greenhouse is designed to maintain growing conditions year-round, even in extreme climates, using insulation, climate control systems, and energy-efficient design.

Yes. With proper insulation and climate control you can grow throughout winter, even in freezing temperatures.

Because of our passive solar design and insulated walls, our greenhouses do not require as much heating as a traditional greenhouse.

That said, depending on your location and yield goals, supplemental heating might be required.
