At Ceres, we approach greenhouse design differently. We limit the area of glazing and, create an energy-efficient structure. We use clear, well-understood green building concepts — such thermal mass, light shelves and earth tubes– and tailor them to meet growers’ needs. As a result, greenhouses maintain year-round “hot-house” growing conditions, with little to no need for non-renewable sources of energy.
